How Self-Awareness and Purpose at the Executive Level Launched a Company — and Ensured its Continued Success

Join us in hearing how Heidi Jannenga, DPT, PT, ATC — Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of WebPT — launched and grew her company on the tenets of conscious capitalism.

Since 2007, WebPT has provided mission-critical technology solutions to physical, occupational, and speech therapists. But it took more than a stellar product for the company to experience its current level of success and accolades. It required a founder with a sense of purpose and commitment for putting people — employees, customers, and stakeholders — first.

In this talk, Heidi will share how she implemented the principles of conscious leadership to guide WebPT from an idea to a $100 million company — and the lessons she learned along the way, including how she navigated a male-dominated industry with grace. She’ll also leave you with three key conscious capitalism takeaways that you can implement in your organization to see tangible results. After all, when you put people first, profits will follow.

WebPT’s core values are:

  • Service: Create Raving Fans
  • Accountability: F Up; Own Up
  • Attitude: Possess True Grit
  • Personality: Be Minty
  • Work Ethic: Be Rock Solid
  • Community Outreach: Give Back
  • Health and Wellness: Live Better
  • Resource Efficiency: Do Más With Menos

In 2020, WebPT received Inc. 5000 honors for the eighth consecutive year, and Heidi was recognized as one of the top 48 most influential people in Arizona.
